First Congregational Church - on the corner of Fourth and Oak Streets.
The Church is on the National and Michigan Historical Registers. Built in the late 1800's, rare stained glass windows are spectacular and include 2 Tiffany windows, and has Romanesque architecture.

Founded in 1888, and completed in 1891 with a 170 ft. spire. A turn of the century pipe organ with 28 stops and 1600 pipes located in the choir loft, and a carillon (chime of 12 massive bells) located in the steeple are played regularly. The lighted steeple can be seen for miles.
