Downtown Manistee:
The Historic Downtown on River Street follows the curves of the Manistee River Channel and a 1.5 mile long Riverwalk to Lake Michigan. Shoppers enjoy pausing to watch the river traffic, huge Great Lakes freighters or charter and pleasure boats heading in from Lake Michigan or from Manistee Lake exiting the harbor. Two drawbridges are in the downtown district.
