Manistee is known for hosting three major festivals. The "Manistee
National Forest Festival" is celebrated the first week in July and
features a Grand Parade, entertainment tent, midway and much more. "The
Port City Street Fair" is the first weekend after Labor Day in September. "The
Victorian Sleighbell Parade and Old Christmas Weekend" takes place the
first weekend in December. Enjoy roasted chestnuts and carolers as you
take part in one of Michigan's most unique holiday celebrations.
