Several eateries have outdoor decks, overlooking the Manistee River Channel and the Riverwalk. From the moment you turn west on River Street, it is obvious that Downtown Manistee is a very special place. Manistee's picturesque central business district is rich with history and original victorian beauty. The entire Downtown District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
